A MESSAGE FROM YOUR PARK HILL VET TEAM ON COVID-19

August 2021

What a strange, long road it has been…we are happy to see our world opening up again and so happy to see your smiling faces in person.

We are fully open at Park Hill Vet in allowing clients to come in with their pets, but we wanted to update you on practices and expectations.

Masks – we are not the “mask police” and are not requiring masks. That being said, 1) if you are not vaccinated, please consider wearing your mask; 2) if you are more comfortable with our team members wearing a mask in the exam room, please do not hesitate to say so; and 3) if you would still prefer curbside care (waiting in your car while your pet comes in), please just let us know.

If you or a family member has had known COVID-19 exposure or is ill with fever, cough, etc., please reschedule your appointment or call to discuss how we can still assist while protecting everyone’s health with an admit appointment or other care option.

Please remember that we, like all veterinary services, are still dealing with the aftermath of high demand from increased pet illness and new pet acquisition, insane call volume, reduced staffing, and many patients’ backlogged care on a daily basis – we know that there are moments of frustration and impatience, and we are working our hardest to serve all, but rudeness, threats and general meanness towards our staff members will not be tolerated.

Thank you for the continued selection of us to care for your beloved animal family members. We truly appreciate you and yours. Let’s all stay healthy.

Park Hill Curbside Protocols

Please complete your curbside check-in and history before arriving. Once you arrive, please call 303.388.2255 to let us know that you have arrived and where parked. Your Outpatient Nurse will call to review while one of our other team members will safely transfer your pet into the practice at the conclusion of the check-in call to be evaluated by their veterinarian. Once the examination is done, your doctor will call to review and/or discuss any recommendations for care.
